^First identified by South African epidemiologists - just pointing out. Yes, miraculously - some things do still work here! That misnomer caused such a lot of trouble and grief. In any case, it's all over the place now, and nothing will stop it in our lifetime, I shouldn't think. We're just going to have to learn to live with it and manage ourselves as best we can - c'est la vie.
