once a dickhead, always a dickhead....

our Football season has been going for about six-eight weeks now with teams playing in empty stadiums.
the teams basically go to a State, are locked down and play a series of matches in a 'round robin', then move to another State etc...

so last night the first game was played here in Perth,
was also the first one to allow crowds ( approx 20,000 maximum in a 66,000 capacity stadium).

anyway,
one dickhead decides to jump the fence and run across the playing arena.
problem is he wasnt obviously aware that the ground is classed as a "covid quarantine area" and there are stiff penalties for breaking our State's quarantine laws...
dude has to be isolated for 14 days now, faces jail time and a $50,000 fine hahaha!

follow up to a story i posted a few weeks ago about a 54 year old Cerebral Palsy sufferer who died due to lack of care by her carer...

the whole carer system is now, in response to that, being investigated to ensure everything is being done correctly in the industry and in particular, the provider that was supposed to look after Ms.Smith:

sad day for the world today.
John Lewis, Civil rights activist and congressman died overnight.
he not only changed history with Martin Luther King Jr he is part of history.

RIP Mr.Lewis a champion of the people for sure.

another piece of historical French architecture damaged by fire,
was Notre Dame last time, this time, a gothic Cathedral in Nantes which was built 600 years ago....

as an off subject piece of trivia.
when Windsor Castle was partially destroyed by fire thirty odd years ago my father recieved a phonecall from one of Prince Charles' architects enquiring if he could return to the UK to assist with renovations on the historic structure. this was because my dad was what was called a 'master craftsman' back in the UK.

unfortunately he couldnt return because he had only recently undergone a full knee reconstruction/replacement and would be unable to recommence work for up to 12 months.

would snowflakes be considered Fractals???

^^
on Bardcore:
i listened to five or six tracks after your post Ruby,
very interesting, "we will rock you", "thunderstruck", "losing my religion" plus the couple linked to your link
and i was thinking Jethro Tull have been doing "bardcore" for fifty years.
