Dani and I went to Tem's store this morning...
i wanted to replace her Michael Jackson "off the wall" cd which has mysteriously dissapeared from its case???...only knew that because it was the one i randomly picked out the other day and couldnt play it, so i had to play ABBA instead...

but then....me being me,
couldnt walk out with just one solitary disc...got Dani another couple she wanted

WEDDINGS,PARTIES,ANYTHING "trophy night:best of"
Aussies, guess you'd call them 'alternative folk'....
big here in the 80s-early 90s,saw them on tour a couple of times supporting Billy Bragg, brilliant band live in concert, thought that $7 was worthy
of a best of set and a good way to introduce me to their studio recordings

Music Head Wrote:different cover than my Shine On Brightly
I'm sure the music is just as good
enjoy
update:
have listened to both Procul Harum albums once now....
Shine On Brightly was ok on a first listen, prefering A Salty Dog at the moment
so back in the pile they go until i play them again for a full assessment at some point!
What Did You Buy? - PennyLane - 10-09-2012
Went to the record store the other day... I love browsing, and it is even better when I find albums that I want. I made two great purchases.
1. Surrealistic Pillow - Jefferson Airplane
2. This one I am really really excited about King of America - Elvis Costello

Yes record, as in those big things you put in those machines, with the needle thingy. The things people of my generation think just make nice wall hangings....
I am jealous.

I got Surrealistic Pillow on vinyl for a Mother's Day gift! It was unopened too which made it extra special.
