Sure hope I didn't pay much for this dud. Love their hits but none of those are on here. This
artist title is misleading. Yes it is the Righteous Brothers but if you're looking for those
lovely duos you will not find them on this. Side one of this is Bill Medley solo and side two
is Bobby Hatfield solo. Both are great voices but they work best when blended together. Nothing
I love on here and five I do not like. Not even sure the word standard would apply to most of
these. No contest for the worst with Bill's cover of My Darling Clementine. Never was sure
whose voice I preferred but splitting them up makes that an easier choice. I'll go for Bobby,
who died in 2003 from a cocaine overdose leading to heart failure. He and Bill were scheduled
for a performance that night but I guess he got a little too righteous. Only one clip available
for the album. Titled as the Righteous Brothers, but it's just Bobby.

Third album from the My Sharona boys, and the last to hit the chart, at a weak #93. I'll admit
I followed the trend in my opinion of those three albums, dropping out after this one. I guess
they did the same, with a 10 year gap before the next one. Lead singer Doug Fieger had left the
band shortly after the release of this album and being droped by the label after it's dismal
performance. They reunited in 1986 for live gigs but didn't release another album until 1991.
Other albums followed but the downfall was permanent. The only charting single from here, Pay
The Devil peaked at #67, with a follow up of Boys Go Crazy which failed to chart. No love
tracks for me here and four that bomb, giving it a barely passing grade. Doug Fieger died in
2010 from a brain tumor at the age of 57.

This is the only studio album I have by these guys. From that listen I shoud have got more.
Very nice album here with one bomb, but four love tracks. Two of those were the hit singles but
the other two were actually a surprise. Guess it's been a long time since I heard this. This is
the duo's fourth album. The hits were Summer Breeze at #6 and Hummingbird at #20 giving the
boys their first hit album at #7. The next one scored even higher and then the decline began.
They split in 1980 after being dropped by the label. Crofts tried some solo work but nothing else from Jim. Jim's brother is Dan Seals who was popular for a minute or so in the country arena.

MAROON 5 "hands all over" cd, 2010.
okay, so i admit it, i own a maroon5 album...i own worse, a lot worse(butnot many,thankfully LOL)...
look, this album isnt that bad really...its a pleasant mix of pop,rock,funky soul and r+b...including a duet with Ladt Antebellum on track12...
sure there is nothing great on here, but then again there is nothing bad neither...oh, except that stupid bonus track....a cover of Queen's "crazy little thing called love", which you know, would get a pass mark had it have been their song, but to cover Queen...well, thats a different story altogether, no one should be allowed to cover Queen(except George Michael who topped Freddie and Co with his tribute 'somebody to love'...the rest,forget 'em IMO.
oops, back to the album, yep, a good collection of modern pop and or dance type material here,pretty hard to pick a favourite as they are all on par with eachother IMO, but best track has to go to the title track this time around...good stuff from a band that proffess to move like jagger(well not entirely but y'all know what i mean right??)
