The UK has become another third-world disaster. Pure and simple. Did anyone see the mess left behind by the Liverpool supporters? A bloody disgrace.
In Japan the supporters clean up the stadium after the match/event - they clean up their classrooms after school - can you ever see that happening in the welfare state of Great Britain? Didn't think so.

sad, sad story on BBC World this morning,
over 350 elephants have died mysteriously in Botswana over the last few weeks.
tusks not removed so poachers have been ruled out.
theories include poisoning or a virus at this stage.
either way its not good when there are only 400,000 left in the African wilds.

the stats for Chicago this year are staggering:
more than 350 killed as a result of firearms.
on May 31st 25 people were killed with guns and a further 85 injured as a result of being shot.
and on July 4th weekend 17 were killed in Chicago with 89 shot in total including a 7yo girl.
