Two discs of radio sessions recorded by the Beeb between '63 & '65. Lots of R & R covers, a fair sprinkling of their own hits of the day, and occasional snatches of studio dialogue.
Very good archive release, but recording quality is a little patchy.
That's enough Beatles for the time being...

L.A. Band formed in 2000, in high school and out with their 3rd release, first with a major label. They're kinda all over the board, pop/punk/rock, but here they are. Sorta Blink-182ish for me. Cool live performance on Jimmy Fallon on #2.

Twelfth studio album. One they could have skipped for me. Although I loved the hit single of Illegal Alien and Mama comes close, there wasn't much else for me. There had to be a lot of disappointed hardcore Genesis fans, although the album reached #9. Those buyers had to be the pop fans. With a whopping 6 out of the 9 tracks charting as singles (Mama charting the highest at #5), maybe that was pushing it. Love the abundance of live clips, which are my favorite kind.
