to be honest I haven't really heard much of art's solo material but I have to admit that "bridge over troubled waters" and "bright eyes" are two of the most beautifully sung songs that I have ever heard.
he has a lovely tone to his voice that is truly unique.

Ryan Adams was born on this day in 1974, as mentioned by CH, and it's not a good idea to confuse him with Bryan Adams, at least not to his face, which has apparently happened at one of his concerts when a âfanâ called for him to sing one of the gravelly voiced guyâs songs. Not known for his easy temperament, that little faux pas didnât go down too well â he stopped the show, ordered the lights to be put on, hurled a few expletives, refunded the dude the price of his ticket, and chucked him out. He has since actually sung âSummer of â69â after befriending his surnameâs sake.
Heâs a multi-instrumentalist, singer/songwriter and his output is prolific. I like his first two albums, Heartbreaker, and Gold, but havenât listened to the remaining 16.This track is from the former, which was his solo debut - with Emmylou Harris â¦

I like Ryan, well, I own one album and like that one...
He's just released a new album, its a cover of Taylor's latest album "1989", that takes
some balls to do IMO, re recording any album in full should be awkward but to do it to an album that
is still riding high in the charts is really ballsy.

Glenn Frey was born on this day in November, 1948, in Detroit, Michigan. Eagles founding member, co-lead vocalist, songwriter, guitarist, harmonica, keyboard and bass player - he has also released a number of solo albums and had some success with a couple of soundtrack songs, including âYou Belong to the Cityâ which was written by him and Jack Tempchin specifically for Miami Vice.
