What Did You Buy? - LMD - 08-08-2012

SteveO Wrote:I'm earning a little extra cash so I was wondering if the gracious and knowledgable members of our great MD could recommend a few cds for me to buy...old or new any genre !!!!!!

I'm overwhelmed at the moment and don't know where to start...lol

Not sure what your take is on them, but Amazon's MP3 store is having a ridiculous sale on Grateful Dead albums. Most start off at $2.99. If you like them, you could probably make a killing.

Otherwise, I do suggest the Mark Tremonti "All I Was" album as I think it might be heavy enough for you. As well as Zen Rising's "Turmoil" EP which is also cheap. Those are some newer things, I'll let some other members who know you better than I suggest some older goodies you may have missed. [Image: h5.gif]

Speaking of the Dead sale, I bought these 2 today in celebration of finishing my last day of work;

What Did You Buy? - CRAZY-HORSE - 15-08-2012

looking foreward to hearing the Stones and Who albums on cd, so they'll probably be the first cabs off the rank, Tem wants my opinion of that Chet one and Augie March...so i guess theyll follow pretty quick also,the rest...who knows?

I have a considerable amount of the Dead but I was intrigued by Mark Tremonti !...I was never really into Creed but I listened to his next band Alter Bridge - Live at Wembley Stadium and LMD I can truthfully say that it's a fantastic live set !!!!....Now I'll check out his solo album for sure !...Apparently he's a very good metal guitarist according to Guitar Magazine....number one the past three years and number 4 metal guitarist ever !!!!!...however I don't consider Alter Bridge as "true metal"...sort of folky hard rock so to speak...hard to categorize the music ...all I know is I LOVE IT !!!!!...thanks LMD !
