sixth album from this group of German Symphonic Metal band....
strange that theyre German because their videos and songs are very Viking/Scandanavian in nature....
music goes between vast orchestrated pieces through to metal and hard rock...
the female vocalist has a very operatic quality to her voice, even borders those of early Kate Bush at times....
as youd probably expect with the Vikings, theres plenty of chants, presumably war chants???
the occasional male vocal somes in, all I can say is that it is what I would call Gothic(for want of a better term)...
a lot of this stuff on this album would be suited in a movie like The Omen IMO...
ive not ever heard anything like this and I like it a lot, not sure how it would compare with their back catalogue or
other bands in the folk metal, goth metal or symphonic metal genres because like I already stated...ive not heard anything like it!

Welcome to the exciting world of symphonic metal Crazy mate! The singer for Leaves' Eyes is Liv Kristine...she's Norwegian and the other members are German so I guess it's really a two nation band. Try a few of these symphonic bands usually led by a dynamic attractive female with a powerful operatic voice singing good melodic songs!
WITHIN TEMPTATION, EPICA, NIGHTWISH, CRADLE OF FILTH (remember the singer Dani), BAL SAGOTH (you recommended them on MD),CARACH ANGREN,,,enough for now,enjoy!

They are an amazing japanese band;they are still young so they have time to make themselves know but they are really good...in my opinion obviously...excuse me if I made mistake I'm study english so for now it's not really good...but thanks for the answer.
