UK chart overview 19th February 2016:

singles:

Lukas Graham continue their reign over the Official Singles Chart as 7 Years notches up a second week at Number 1.The Danish quartet racked up 134,000 combined sales (including 5.18 million streams) to hold on to this week’s top spot – almost 30,000 more than their chart sales total last week.
Lukas told OfficialCharts.com:“We’re surprised, ecstatic, vibrant and exultant about the success of 7 years! It’s very satisfying when you see your song at the top of the charts. 7 Years seems to have attracted a lot of age groups – people seem to be seeing their own lives in the song and it’s great to see so many people reacting in that way to it.”

7 Years holds off Zayn’s Pillowtalk, which logs a second week at Number 2, Rihanna’s Work hits at new peak at Number 3, Jonas Blue & Dakota’s Fast Car is at 4, and Shawn Mendes’ Stitches completes the Top 5.
[h=4]New entries and high climbers[/h]Lush Life by Zara Larsson jumps seven spots to Number 9 this week, marking her first UK Top 10 as a headline artist. The Swedish singer topped our first ever Official Trending Chart earlier this week, which tracks the hottest new songs making an impact in the UK.
Following the tragic deaths of all four members of Viola Beach and their manager last weekend, the band’s track Swings & Waterslides enters at Number 11. Tributes have been pouring in all week for the up and coming Warrington band, with stars including Kasabian, Liam Gallagher and The Stone Roses all urging the public to get the song into this week’s Top 40.
Further down the tally, Coldplay’s Hymn For The Weekend leaps six places to hit a new peak at 17, Twenty One Pilots’ Stressed Out moves from 34 to 21, and Adele’s When We Were Young zooms ten places to a new high of 23.
