What Did You Buy? - CRAZY-HORSE - 02-08-2012

i am a fan Jerome, just never been able to get a cd of his...loved him since my youth when i used to listen to some of the tracks my mum used to play...
im sure that now this new documentary has been released that his previously released albums(all two of them) will be available here, and i WILL purchase them without a doubt!!!!

amazingly, he was not only popular in South Africa but also became a bit of an icon here in the 1990s,early 2000s when he toured with Midnight Oil on several occasions...

and as you said...brilliant lyricist!!!!!!!

I am pleased to announce the MENSA er...sorry MENTAL society has a new member!

I am sure you will find something on that album you will like MH. Lyrics are expecially thought-provoking. Legend has it when he was asked 'Hey man, where you coming from?', he replied 'from reality'. Hence the title of his album 'Coming From Reality'. Don't know if this is myth or fact.

I see you are never without the fags - even when plowing. I gave up giving up years ago.

As always, there is that indefatigable sense of humour. This forum would be a lot poorer without it. It's one of the reasons I stay on it.

I'm earning a little extra cash so I was wondering if the gracious and knowledgable members of our great MD could recommend a few cds for me to buy...old or new any genre !!!!!!

I'm overwhelmed at the moment and don't know where to start...lol

The Songs of Distant Earth - Mike Oldfield - a multitude of styles, influences, moods & mayhem. Will suit any occasion and travels well. (I sound like a door-to-door salesman now!)

It's supposed to be an accompaniement to the book by Aurthur C Clarke, I think. Or inspired by it. One of the two. Not sure which.
