Country legend David Allan Coe and country singer David Lee Murphy are the newest singers of the music to be hit with the Covid sickness. David Allan is 81. May they both make a full recovery!

Italy has introduced what they call a "green pass" which is for people who have been fully vaccinated and allows them to travel on busses, trains and ferrys.

Well - the dreaded C word is in the house. My daughter tested positive but seems to have it quite mildly aside from no taste and smell. Quarantining of course. So far so good. Holding thumbs!!

Coronavirus - the gift that just keeps on giving. More new strains emerging every day. Whoever designed this virus knew exactly what they were doing.

^Thanks, and no she hasn't. We think we might be lucky - on an even keel at the moment. I had my second vaccine just in the nick of time - phew! Pretty sure it must be affording me some sort of protection - dread to think what might have happened otherwise. Taking all the suggested meds and immune boosters nonetheless and keeping a close eye. Can't mess around with this thing - just too scary!

Keep some vitamin D handy. It helps somewhat.

deaths from Covid have risen sharply in the US again with 1,500 deaths per day currently.
Florida has the highest average death rate at 335 per day (which im suspecting has something to do with its aging population)
