Like I said worse part is no electricity and of course trees falling. Buying batteries, water, and food is the main precautions to take. Have to board up my sliding glass door too. Won't take much wind to blow it out. It's in bad shape!! My house is old!!

Well, we lucked out on this one. Our lights went out for a few seconds then came back on. We had 3.5 inches of rain, lightning, and alot of wind. Carolina Beach (one of Wilmington's beaches) had winds 87 mph. Our winds at Wrightsville Beach were about 62 mph. The storm turned right as it got to Cape Fear thank goodness!!

Still alot of activity going on out in the Atlantic up and down the coast. It's been quite windy off and on ever since the beginning of Arthur. Might just be in for another one if the activity starts to spin. It's early for us to be getting hurricanes. They normally get going strong here in August up through Oct. Got a feeling it's going to be a active hurricane season this year. Partly cloudy, humid, and windy today, with alot of rain in our forecast.

Wet July here here in NL, funny we seem to be having much more mixed weather this year with a really mild Winter a warm Spring but so far only an average Summer.

after the extremely long and protracted hot summer this year we are now experiencing some cooler than average winter temps and higher than usual rainfall...
so far this month our average night temp has been 8C/46F and the average day temp has been 15C/59C....
we have had a couple of nights around the 1C/34F temp and a couple of days that hovered around 20C/68F
so far this month(july) we've had around 160mm/6.25 inches of rain
so yeah guys....
thats winter in Perth,west australia.

Its been 32 degrees here and for me that is too much........interestingly it is forcast that it could be between 36 and 39 tomorrow

Wow a heat wave in Holland ! 28 C here, sunny and hot !...overall not a great summer, too much rain !

Yeah for some reason it is really hot out here today in some parts of the South it will be 39!:yo::yo::yo::bolt::bolt:Shame the Dutch didn't finish higher than third but still they did well to get that far !

Is it a record of sorts...39 ...geez that's about 102 Fahrenheit,,,I would have to be by a pool or the ocean to cope with that!!!
