Wanda Jackson on Conan show
now that was both funny and sad
Wanda, now 73, had a tag of Queen of Rockabilly back in to the 50's, then went on to straight country before her star faded.
New album out, which I'm assuming Jack White had something to do with, as he performed with her.
Song was pretty bad.

i was thinking about Wanda today at work, the thought was triggered by playing "kinda fonda wanda" by NY on m ipod....song has no reference to ms.jackson as far as i know??? but i was thinking 'i aint got anything of hers on vinyl/cd' then they played her on the radio(i keep one ear on the ipod and one on the radio,dont know how i do it but i do), then you mention her here

I missed the start of The West Wing, and have avoided it until now. Started in on the DVD box set af all seven series last night.
Seems good enough so far. Any opinions ??

Watched it on and off for a few years.
Seems like there was a conflict between it and something else we wanted to watch.
This was before we had a dvr, so we had to choose.
Since it was a running story line, never could stay into it.
I'm sure I would have liked it if not for that.
