RE: I read the news today, oh boy! - CRAZY-HORSE - 10-03-2020 ^^ never a truer word been uttered IMO RE: I read the news today, oh boy! - CRAZY-HORSE - 11-03-2020 I cant decide if depravity is the right word here. but who the fuck kills a rare white giraffe and leaves it to rot and its baby to die of starvation??? sorry for the language here but this makes me so angry, what the fuck is wrong with these people (and people is a word I use loosely!) https://www.msn.com/en-au/news/world/rare-white-giraffe-reportedly-shot-dead/ar-BB110oDc?ocid=spartanntp RE: I read the news today, oh boy! - Jerome - 11-03-2020 No need to apologise. My sentiments exactly. Mankind just does not give a shit about anyone or anything other than want he wants to do. This species is doomed. Make no mistake. It will destroy itself in the end. People don't care about anything other than themselves. And the 'phoney' generation are so busy checking their screens they don't even see what's going on around them. When the end comes 99% of the population will be watching it on their phones. Technology is turning humans into insensitive, uncaring zombies who lack all empathy and understanding. Even when presented with the facts of what is going on in the world and what is coming if change does not occur it is still ignored. The human race is simply too stupid to comprehend the situation it's in. But the chicken is coming home to roost - sure as eggs are eggs. RE: I read the news today, oh boy! - Music Head - 11-03-2020 damn I feel so guilty all I did was watch the news RE: I read the news today, oh boy! - Jerome - 11-03-2020 One of the funniest moments in sport - and a brilliant comeback - the poor sod was obviously besotted with her. https://youtu.be/KrpdRh_2gW8 RE: I read the news today, oh boy! - Jerome - 11-03-2020 Coronavirus now officially a pandemic worldwide. Not good. I see it has also landed in the Congo. The humidity levels in Central Africa are off the charts. Perfect breeding ground for Covid-19. This is not going to end well. Had to go to the supermarket today for my usual shopping. People are panic-buying. No toilet rolls or hand sanitization products to be found anywhere. Oh well, at least they had plenty of Malbec available in the booze section. RE: I read the news today, oh boy! - CRAZY-HORSE - 12-03-2020 ^^ our local store now has a Security Guard guarding the toilet roll section. 1 pack per customer. meanwhile across Australia: its so bad here that someone got stabbed in a scuffle over toilet paper. another woman was tasered by Police for assaulting another customer over toilet paper. commodities in short supply here are: toilet paper, bottled water, sugar (all types), hand sanitiser, rice/pasta. on another note: someone here in Perth was selling a 20 pack of toilet rolls on ebay for $2000. one of the TV stations went undercover, bought it, arranged to meet him for pick up and shamed him on State TV...LOL its BS people don't need to panic buy. im assuming all the Doomsday Preppers are loaded and locked, ready to go! RE: I read the news today, oh boy! - Jerome - 12-03-2020 Here's one to set the cat amongst the pigeons - from Fox News Author Dean Koontz eerily predicted the coronavirus outbreak in his 1981 thriller "The Eyes of Darkness." The fictional novel tells the story of a Chinese military lab that creates a new virus to potentially use as a biological weapon during wartime. The lab is ironically located in Wuhan, China and the made-up virus is called Wuhan-400. RE: I read the news today, oh boy! - Jerome - 12-03-2020 Ireland has just gone into shutdown mode. Only pharmacies and shops/supermarkets can stay open. Don't know why people are going ape-shit over toilet paper. Running out of toilet paper is not the worst thing that can happen. Running out of food is something else entirely. And Malbec of course... RE: I read the news today, oh boy! - CRAZY-HORSE - 13-03-2020 another "shake your head in disbelief" news story! https://www.msn.com/en-au/news/australia/perth-good-samaritan-robbed-after-stopping-to-give-first-aid/ar-BB116gAs?ocid=spartanntp ============================================================================= and dickheads now queuing outside toilet paper warehouses... https://www.msn.com/en-au/news/australia/panicked-shoppers-are-now-queuing-up-outside-toilet-paper-factories-as-they-stock-up-due-to-coronavirus-fears/ar-BB114SQM?ocid=spartanntp im starting to seriously think that I don't belong in modern society anymore because it seems the world is getting more crazy by the day. |
