Who - Face Dances - 1981

The first album without Keith Moon, who died in 1978. With only 1 studio release remaining in a brilliant career, they gave it their best effort. The album peaked at #4 on the strength of the only single, You Better You Bet at #18, which went to #9 in the U.K. Darn it, no clip for my fav.

I like this album.

Paramore - Brand New Eyes - 2009

Tennessee group formed in 2005 launched by a school talent show which grew into local gigs. Grammy nominated for best new band with their sophmore platinum release in 2006. Debuting at #2 with this third release. Singer Haley Williams has some powerful chops.

I like this album.
