Seattle grunge rockers with 14 years since the last studio release and their 5th album. They should be well rested. Minus vocalist Layne Staley who died of a drug overdose in 2002, replaced by William Duvall of Comes With The Fall. Sounds the same to me.

I like this album.

Stephen Stills - Right By You - 1984

This ninth studio album remains one of his lowest rated, by critics and the public. Still an ok offering in my book, the highlight may be the guest appearance by Jimmy Page. The title track and Can't Let Go were both released as singles, but neither helped the album sales too much, which only reached #75 on the charts, his lowest charting yet for a solo release. There are no clips available for this album.

Barenaked Ladies - Disc One: All Their Greatest Hits (1991-2001)

Don't own any of their studio albums as I was always apprehensive. I did pick up this greatest hits compilation which I found very good. I guess there's quite a few singles on here but I don't know what they are. Although they started out as a novelty act, I think they graduated past that to put out some great songs.

I like this album.

I don't hear a bad song among them. Well thought-out, and true to their classic sound without sounding like they're calling it in.

"Comeback" albums often sound out-of-touch and make you feel like you're being dragged into the band's mid-life crisis. But this sounds as edgy as they ever did.
