she osrt of had an average career except for that song...
this "a" side isnt too bad, but "b" side is a piece of crap..

i love both sides of this GH debut single even though the "a" side is a bit repeatative...

ROSE TATTOO "calling" b/w "win at any cost" 1986
Aussie hard rock outfit who were at their peak in the early 1980s, unfortuantely for both me and them, they were totally past their usedby date by time this one was released...
vocalist,Angry Anderson,the 5" nothing tattooed, still has the vocals, its just that the songs here sucked...
single actually made it to #24 back in the day

MONTE VIDEO & THE CASSETTES "shoop shoop diddy wop,cumma cumma wang dang" b/w "dont mention my name" 1983
sort of a comedy record...it was annoyingly catchy then, but now its simply annoying!
this was the only charting single from these guys(in fact ive never heard anything else by them)...
"b" side is even worse than the "a" side...thats how bad the "b" dise is!

i have a love/hate relationship with Vega...i either love or hate her songs, this single is no different, i love the glorious "a" side and cant stand the "b" side...

Feargal's second single release, and first here, i bought this one without hearing it, purely on the strength of the debut i loved so much...
i dont like either side of this disc, much prefering his debut single and the two or three singles off the debut album that followed this one

so-called electronic rock pioneer from the UK who influenced Ultravox,Simple Minds,Human League,Johnny Warman etc...
Numan himself was influenced by Peter Gabriel...
i was dreading playing this one as im not a fan of Numan or his stupid Tubeway Army, but this "a" side actually surprised me on this listen...
its better than i recalled it would be after all this time.
"b" side is a stupid dumbass electronica instrumental...

THE POLICE "every little thing she does is magic" b/w "shambelle" 1981
its rare for me to love,let alone like most of these guys early material...wasnt until around this time that they became a great band IMO...
i love this "a" side, its classic Police, "b" side is a stupid instrumental that they ripped everyone off with as this song was also used on the "b" side of "invisible sun"
