For Scores, Danny Elfman is my favourite with Nightbreed and Instinct both standing out. The Transformers scores are pretty impressive too, Steve Jablonsky has done a fine job of creating a recognizable sound for the franchise.
For soundtrack albums some favourites are:
Heavy Metal, Pretty In Pink, Fast Times at Ridgemount High & True Stories (the Talking Heads movie)
