Considering your vast collection of vinyls, you should consider buying some software that convert a vinyl into mp3. Of course, doing it with all your collection would take too much time, but you could pick up albums one at a time instead of re-paying for an album that you already possess. But all this is probably too complicated for a dumbass. :llama:

Actually I'm hoping for one of those under the x-mas tree here shortly.
I put out a thread a while back asking for advice about those. About all I got back was it wasn't worth it because of the loss of sound quality. So I never pursued it because of the expert advice. But I did put it on my list to Santa. No telling what he will bring me.

Recently, I've seen at Wal-Mart a kind of station that do all the job. No need to plus something into your computer. There's a vinyl and cassette player so you can put anyone of these two onto a CD. But I don't know anything about the quality of such station. See for yourself, I've found it:

I'll check it out.
I saw one also where you didn't need to hook it up to your computer. It just put them on one of those thumbnail drives, which you could then move to your computer. I liked that.

Figures, no price there.
Don't know why a major audio manufacturer can't make these.
Always some off brand I've never heard of. I've had some bad experiences with those.
Looks like there would be a demand for it.
