Remember that Obama had a good fight from Hillary for the initial Democratic nomination. Interesting if Biden enters the race...Clinton will still get the nomination however. Thursday's debate should be fun...watching Trump!

I was right the first time. I just saw the Debate last night (rerun)
and Trump is a jerk. The way he treats woman. Ms. Kelly got him good last night
That is one pretty woman by the way. I like Kasich too but I still like Rubio and Hucabee.
I'm afraid it may be between Clinton and Trump though. We don't have a prayer.
When I heard Trump gave money to Pelosi that was enough for me. I can't stand that b**ch!

Btw, I agree with Steve. Too many candidates!
As time goes by I will stick with one.

As an outside observer from Canada, I think the only chance the Republicans may have is to nominate Senator Marco Rubio, only 44 years old and I was impressed with his two minute comment at the debate! He wants to focus on current problems that are facing Americans and not to drag up the past! Too many candidates, this disables them from speaking with substance!

Canada is in the midst of a General Election campaign...foolish PM dropped the writ last week, election scheduled for 19 Oct, 70 days of campaigning...ridiculous! The usual time frame is for the most part five weeks.

I never liked Trump, he's an arrogant piece of crap who thinks he is "God"...which is rubbish because Bono says he is "God",LMAO.

first time I saw Trump I disliked him, watched an episode of that stupid "the apprentice" shoe, disliked him even more...

seen him on TV a couple of times in the last couple of weeks and apparently what he doesn't know about the world isn't worth knowing(according to Trump!)...

just a couple of questions though.....
who would vote for a guy who has declared bankrupt on two separate occasions,
and why is a known bankrupt allowed to run for office anyway????

surely, if he cannot manage his own affairs properly then how is he going to be able to run the affairs of a country properly and responsibly?

yea
don't care for the guy at all
just another arrogant s.o.b

about his finances
he is a billionaire
he may have had companies declare bankruptcy
but he owns dozens of companies I think
not rare at all for a private company to do that I would think
and I don't really think you are saying that an individual who has filed bankruptcy
should not be allowed to run for office? are you?

imo, his popularity is due to his controversial straight talker comments
he tells it like it is on some things
and is not afraid to offend people
good for him in that respect

still don't think the guy will be around in the end
but it would assure Hillarys sweep

Politics - CRAZY-HORSE - 18-08-2015

ok....
Wiki says he declared four of his company's bankrupt....in which he lost 900million of his own money in the process, so I stand corrected on that....

No, I don't think any bankrupt or bankrupt party should be allowed to run for office, anyone who puts their hand up to stand in the political arena shoul,IMO,
be an outstanding citizen/businessman/woman.....but this isn't a perfect world and very few of them are 'upstanding' as business people or as people in general...

I think you got it right about his popularity....he does call it as he sees it whether people like it or not....I dislike political correctness, and he is in no way PC.
so I respect him for speaking his mind....
unfortunately, being a President or Prime Minister requires diplomacy Trump simply does not have that characteristic in his arsenal....

it takes a forked tongue or a silver tongue to win in Politics, its all about charisma and charm in front of the camera to win in that game.

Hillary would have a lot of fans because a lot of people still think the Clinton/Gore regime was fantastic, but equally, she'll have a lot of detractors for the same reason....
I think she will fall on her sword at least six months prior to the election.
