What Did You Buy? - SteveO - 05-03-2012 I'll listen to any music once and then decide but I usually find something ear catching in most genres of music, LMD ! Twiztid, I.C.P. and Necro are all decent in their genre ! LMD Wrote:Horrocore rap. They're essentially the protege's of the Insane Clown Posse, though by now they've far surpassed them in terms of actual ability. I don't know your taste all that well SteveO, but I get this strange feeling you won't enjoy Twiztid too much. What Did You Buy? - LMD - 06-03-2012 Well, I've been proven wrong. Favorite bit of irony in this thread? I have an ICP poster hanging on my wall, and even I don't consider them good (I just like the mythological worlds they create. Musically, I think they're very replaceable and lucky the fanbase has degenerated into a group of people who will buy anything they do and proclaim it incredible. Has really killed them, in my opinion.) If you like them, you might want to look into Boondox. He's from the same label, and personally my favorite. But that's as far as my knowledge of horrorcore (And rap in general) goes. I'm sure Hatchet could help out more.
What Did You Buy? - CRAZY-HORSE - 07-03-2012 bugger! went to see Corey today to get the new Springsteen one, but i must have had my release dates mixed up...its not out till friday here, but me being me in a cd store i had to buy something so i got a two for one Jethro Tull set, purely on what you guys have posted about the apparent greatness of Jethro over the last couple of days, also picked up the latest one by Lloyd because i love that one he does with Andre3000. ![]() Psssttttt!...promise me guys.....dont let MH know that a package containing several discs is going to be sent tomorrow. What Did You Buy? - Jerome - 07-03-2012 Those 2 Jethro Tull albums are excellent. Heavy Horses in particular is a masterpiece. Listen to 'Moths' - pure magic and contains some of his best lyrics as well. Incidentally of all the albums I owned in my younger days my late father used to just play HH over and over while I was out gallavanting.
