What Did You Buy? - Music Head - 29-02-2012 CRAZY-HORSE Wrote:IMO CCR's studio albums come pretty close to being best of's anyway...seven absolutely classic albums with not a single dud track to be found(except for some of the so called bonus songs on the cds) yea, I would expect a representative best of to inclue at least 20 tracks. I love cd compilations, as you know you always get your moneys worth even though you're usually missing something you think should be on there What Did You Buy? - hatchetman - 29-02-2012 Twizted's Cryptic Collection 4 is the last one I bought. I dig the underground stuff. What Did You Buy? - LMD - 04-03-2012 Music Head Wrote:yea, I would expect a representative best of to inclue at least 20 tracks. HUGE pet peeve of mine is when Greatest Hits collections don't have a MINIMUM of 20 tracks. Unless its a $5 bargain bin Greatest Hits package, the band doesn't deserve a GH if you can't find at least 20 songs on there. All the greatest hits albums I buy are either the $5 bargain ones or 2-disc sets mainly for that reason. A lot of the bands I do that for I call "Filler" bands where I don't want to drop a ton of cash on them because I only listen to them sparingly, but if I'm going to pay money to have the cream of the crop of their stuff, I expect to have something to listen to for more than a couple minutes. [/mini-rant on money-stealing record companies] Anyway, I served a day of Jury Duty a while back (Read: I sat in a room and filled out a survey as to why I couldn't actually serve), and for some unknown, but AWESOME, reason I get paid ridiculously well for my travel expenses, on top of the usual flat-rate $40 you get for being there. Been waiting til I had enough cash for this gem, even though I've already heard most of it by this point. <_< ![]() And to get over free-shipping, I bought;
What Did You Buy? - SteveO - 04-03-2012 Hatchet, what other underground artists do you like and what kind of music does Twizted play ? I am always curious about bands I haven't heard! hatchetman Wrote:Twizted's Cryptic Collection 4 is the last one I bought. I dig the underground stuff. What Did You Buy? - SteveO - 04-03-2012 The brilliant new album from YES - Fly From Here ..thanks for the reco guys ! What Did You Buy? - LMD - 04-03-2012 SteveO Wrote:what kind of music does Twizted play? Horrocore rap. They're essentially the protege's of the Insane Clown Posse, though by now they've far surpassed them in terms of actual ability. I don't know your taste all that well SteveO, but I get this strange feeling you won't enjoy Twiztid too much. What Did You Buy? - evilB - 04-03-2012 LMD Wrote:Horrocore rap. I'm guessing horrocore rap is not too much for SteveO, in fact he'll probably have Necro, I.C.P. & Twiztid on his iPod by the end of the week.
