Tyondai is Anthony's son...you're right ! He played with Battles up to 2007 and is now a tour de force artist in his own right !

Anyways, Untrue by Burial
To my surprise, I'm actually really enjoying this. There's these annoying crackly sounds that sort of interrupt the overall sound, but otherwise I'm really digging it

Robert Miles - Children
It's a real classic... and so relaxing.

Not Available-the Residents
There's this crazy theory about the Beatles actually being the Residents. Let me just say that if this is true, that was a mojor step up for them
(lol, just kidding, don't crucify me again for not liking the Beatles)

Stairway to the Stars-the Caretaker
Unbelievably dark and depressing, akin to a light night walk in big city

I respect the fact Matt that you don't like The Beatles !.....but I can't understand it ????....lol

Hey SteveO - you were asking about instrumental/ambient music. Try 'The Plateaux of Mirror' (Eno & Harold Budd)

if you're looking for ambient, nothing's better than William Basinski (some people would classify him as modern classical, but that's bullshit)

The an Machine-Kraftwerk
Definitely the best thing I've heard from the so far. It still does sound a bit dated today, but the music is still pretty great, and it's overall way more consistent than everything else I've heard from the group (or collective, I'm not sure which they're classified as)
