ive only hear a few tracks previously,including a few live tracks filmed when theyve been out here at festivals over the years...i didnt like them then
and after hearing "daddy"(MH's favourite on their debut album), i still see no reason to change my thought patterns about them at all???
my eldest son,Declan, and Dani's son Aaron both love these guys...i cant see what all the fuss is about...
and if i had to name 100 artists starting with "K" that you would possibly have in your collection then Korn wouldnt have even got a look in!
im absolutely flabagasted that you have Korn in your collection!

First let's dispense with the silliness. Twelve blank tracks to start the album. All 5 seconds each to waste a total of 1 minute of my time. Now
what was the purpose of that? Then we get another hidden track after a 2 minute wait, to cap it off. As far as what's in between, 1 love track
and 8 I don't like. I expected that downward trend from the debut. Missed the bands second album (Life Is Peachy) but it seems to be the one
that brought the band some fame, topping out at #3 on the chart. This one hit #1 and remains their best selling. There was not much in the way
of hits here with five singles released. We get a couple of guest spots with Ice Cube on Children Of The Korn and Fred Durst (Limp Bizkit) on
All In The Family. I've still got 4 albums to go and it's going to be painful.

Korn are embarrassingly popular here in Australia...
if i spend an hour walking through a shopping centre i can guarentee i'll see at least a dozen teens wearing Korn t-shirts!
System Of A Down are also still popular amongst the 'hard-core' teens also.
if i heard "12 blank ones" it would be my favourite track of theirs for sure!

like i said...i odnt like them, but like System Of A Down there is a lot of energy in their live gigs, so i cant knock them for that SteveO, theyre just not my thing.

Believe it or not man, I am not a big fan of SOD ! Too commercial for me...like Avenged Sevenfold, Black Label Society,Five Finger Death Punch, etc. They all use similar predictable shreds and riffs and the vocals are bland. Melodies are dull and monotonous. They want to make moula so they play "pop" metal. As you are all aware , most of my music is never on the Top 40!!!!...lol

Looks like it's about time to turn these guys over to SteveO. And I've got 3 albums left. This is the groups fourth album and the second best
selling after Follow The Leader. First one with nothing I love and plenty I'll enjoy not hearing again. The hip/hop/rap elements have been
dropped from this one making it more of a metal band. Jonathan Davis is as vulgar as ever with more slurred lyrics than ever. These guys have
yet to have lyrics included. Anyway, I held on as long as I could. I think I liked the first album.
