Powderfinger - Odyssey Number Five

I never really loved Powderfinger, however obviously many people do, because a few years ago this album topped the Triple-J listeners' poll of best Australian albums of all time.

i like Powderfinger's singles, was never a an of their albums though...
I loved Bernard Fanning's "tea and sympathy" album...
the band got their name from the Neil Young song as they were huge NY fans...

ended up as my favourite album of 2015 just ahead of the self titled
Nathaniel Ratelliff & The Night Sweats album...

David Bedford - The Odyssey

"Symphonic progressive" work, all instrumental.

Bedford was a former bandmate of Mike Oldfield and they continued to occasionally collaborate. Bedford's work however is not all that similar to Oldfield's; it shows much more classical influence. This is probably his most "accessible" album.

That defeats the object of the game. Somebody else is supposed to respond. If no-one can come up with a reply then the last post is the winner. That's the whole point of the game. The game is working just fine - we don't need more bloody rules. The KISS principle applies - Keep it straight and simple.

In the OP it says that the idea of the game is not that it is to be won, but to be continued for as long as possible, and that you shouldn’t just carry on after your own post unless nobody else comes up with anything within 24 hours, in which case, if people are stumped, you are first to provide clues to a possible follow on because you should have one waiting in the wings. It’s all there.

Bob_32, c’mon …. this was your own response to MH when he said “next time the rules committee meets I would like to submit an amendment” in your Bet you don’t own this thread:

And since I’m not a mod either, please will one of those suggest what to do now about continuity – shall we assume the Bedford post was not removed and go from Gilmour, or backtrack to Powderfinger?? Thanks!
