Think it's the glockenspiel that works for me. Thought it was a xylophone, but I wouldn't know
the difference. It makes it pretty. Coming off his appearance at the Monterey Pop Festival in
'67, Jimi headed to the studio to lay this down. He says it is his favorite track on the album.

Good song, not great for me. Breakthrough hit here for the duo. Their first single in the US
but the fourth in the UK. Electronics was making its move into the studio, and Dave Stewart was
at the forefront. His programming of instruments is mentioned. A turnoff for me. Video with
Annie and her butch orange hair became an MTV hit giving the song a huge push.

fell in love with this song first time i heard it "***" from me, pretty much loved all their singles up until that "sex crime-1984" thing
also(dont own anything) but love Annie as a solo artist, and bought and love Dave's solo set from the other year...great stuff, they came a long way from that stupid Tourists group in the late 1970s to become Eurythmics...vast improvement IMO
