Politics - Lovely Linda - 22-04-2015 As usual we disagree jazz. Namesakes tend to think alike especially when Politics are involved. Bush, two are enough. For one as far as Hillary, I don't think I want a woman who continues to live with a man who is a known cheater. Doesn't say much about her repect for her own self. I would have left the the cheater years ago. She didn't know? Yeah right. Everyone else did. And please, she was under sniper fire. She is a liar! From what I have heard from Marco Rubio so far, I agree with him on the issues! As time draws nearer I might change my mind but as for now, I like him. All you have to do is watch the videos from youtube and you will hear what me and Rubio agree. Politics - jazzboCR - 22-04-2015 Lovely Linda Wrote:As usual we disagree jazz. Namesakes tend to think alike especially when Politics are involved. Bush, two are enough. You haven't even come close to answering the questions I asked--And your's weren't even skillful evasions. You keep on throwing up bushwa about things that don't matter when it comes to leading a country. Why should anyone take you seriously when you won't engage on substantive matters? Fie on thee, little thinker. Do you really want to talk about morally crippled presidents of the 20th Century? We can start with the Negro-hating, virulently anti-Semitic Woodrow Wilson right up to the serially cheating John Kennedy. Compare their records as Prez with that paragon of virtue, Herbert Hoover, Prez when the the Great Depression started and ineffective for 4 years after. Show me conclusive proof that moral character has anything to to do with ability to lead the masses to betterment--I'd love to hear examples. O/W we are being led astray by ch!ckensh!t sniping by those in the pay of those who want to keep and increase their ill-gotten gains. Politics - Music Head - 22-04-2015 why should she answer your questions when she will be attacked regardless? just to give you a sparring partner? you win again jazz you should be proud Politics - jazzboCR - 22-04-2015 Music Head Wrote:why should she answer your questions when she will be attacked regardless? "Pride goeth before a fall." The thin-skinned are advised to not engage in political discussions. And why engage in a political discussion if you are not prepared to 1) give reasons for a position taken and 2) defend that position when questioned? If you are trying to convince us about a person or policy, then do so--throwing out a name or catch-phrase just isn't enough. BTW, there is no announced candidate that I support but then it's way too early to do so--too much that's substantive can happen/be revealed between now and the Conventions, much less the elections. I doubt it will be a Republican though--too much pandering to the made-fearful/making fearful Hard Right but Ms. Clinton doesn't do it for me either. We'll see... Politics - Lovely Linda - 23-04-2015 At least I know who I like and why jazz. You don't have a clue. I've conversed with alot tougher than you jazz so best not to get so cocky. I could write a book about Politics that you don't know and I don't have to look for links. End of story. You are welcome to your opinions; you are welcome to my scorn for them. BTW, if you have all this big inside knowledge, why aren't you sharing it? A shy little flower are you? Or is it something more sinister? . Politics - Jerome - 23-04-2015 The war has started on the ground.................. Politics - Lovely Linda - 23-04-2015 No, it's ended Jerome. Jazz is not worth my time. I have better thinks to do than argue with a spoiled brat. He doesn't want a truce. All he wants to do is argue. Politics - Jerome - 23-04-2015 Oh I'm just having a dig - I really don't care who 'wins' - it just seemed like it was going to blow up into WW3. To be quite honest I think America (and the rest of the world) is running out of options with regard to leaders - they simply do not exist. Big business calls the shots. The so-called candidates are all beholden to the entities that supply the money to keep the whole façade/circus rolling on. A true visionary would not have the backing simply because in order to 'fix' things, he or she would have to go against the powers that be - and they're just not going to let that happen. All it takes is a bullet from a school book depository. Sorry boys and girls, but the days of true leadership are long gone. And it will take something like the French Revolution to restore the balance. When the fast asleep & comatose middle classes realize that they are all enslaved to a system that keeps a very small minority in the pound seats and they finally run out of the ability to pay for basic essentials - that's when the sh*t will truly hit the fan. So the powers that be make sure that the middle classes have just enough to survive but not enough to scale their way up the system or begin a revolt. Keep them amused with iPads/television etc. Roger Waters was right - we are indeed 'Amused to Death'. Politics - LMD - 23-04-2015 Well, this has to be one of the most worthless topics on this forum. Glad we brought it back. |
