I agree except for Lady Ga Ga ...I think she is a talented artist who writes her own material and plays an instrument on stage...I must for me!She has only scratched the surface!

Okay but just remember that artists can be very talented in other ways, other than writing their own songs and playing an instrument.
Do you agree? However, the "talents" that we can see in these artists can be very subjective.

Yes to a certain extent...I think Ga Ga can sing also so she has the upper hand on a lot of the other pop singers! To write, play an instrument (piano), and sing are a stronger skill set than only singing in a studio where autotune may be used! The best qualifier for an artist or band is how well they perform live in front of their fans...that's the primary focus for me! Ga Ga is a great live performer imho !...some artists are very good in the studio but bomb on the live setting!..and the reverse is true also to a lesser degree I think!

Technical skills do not govern all that defines artist talent! It's just one part of the spectrum. Many people define "how talented" an artist is
just by how good their music can make them feel. Just saying. Also whenever I call out a singer as being weak, a music friend that loves that artist disagrees
with me. Why? Because they have a totally different definition of what a great singer is. Okay, I accept that because it's their right to believe and think whatever they want about the artists that they love. Because the basis of being a music lover is not to "question" and "correct" what others love that you can't appreciate, it's to love and promote what you listen to and know the most about.

lol What can I say? I "happen" to like a lot of female singers who are drop dead gorgeous! And who have AMAZING voices! :-)
