Kitty wells "legends" cd in bargain bin at Big-W for $2
Carter Family "greatest hits" found in same place for $2
dont have anything by either artist, but have several CF tracks in John Cash live albums, always like Kitty though, just couldnt be bothered paying top dollar for a cd, now i dont have to.

Have you anything by Bob Wills and the Texas Playboys ???? Very good Western swing from the 1940s.

no i dont have anything by BW & TP...have really only been seriously getting into country since joining the site and getting advice from MH...so i have a long way to go mate!...that said i have always liked JC,Loretta,K Rogers, Dolly, Jim Reeves, Willie, Kristofferson....only just started getting into Merle over the last year or so, and more recently G.Jones...

$6 in the bargain bin at Corey's
Good Charlotte "cardiology"....some good singles from this one,wouldnt pay full price for it either!
Nick Drake "bryter layter"...only have one Nick album, guess this is another posthemous release?
Jet "shaka rock"...crap third album from these guys, but for $6 theres gotta be some tracks i will like
The Script "science and faith"...not really a fan of these guys, but reviews of this one were pretty good
Nick Cave/Bad Seeds "no more shall we part".....my Cave collection is now almost complete!
and finally but not least....i now finally own Elton John "goodbye yellow brick road"...i have the vinyl but now finally the cd!
Dani bought one of Casey Chambers earlier albums....heard it in the car on the way home...bloody good IMO

No no this is Nick's second album referred to as "the City Album " it has never been off the Island catalogue despite selling in only hundreds when first released.....Joy Boyd( Pink Floyd producer and others !!) had tremendous faith in Nick and knew that one day his time would come..................check out also who played on each track there are some hidden stars .............................
