Jerome Wrote:Yusuf - An Other Cup (formerly Cat Stevens) - the man still has the touch but the angst is gone. Good album. The track 'Maybe There's a World' is classic Cat. Do not like his take on 'Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood'.

i only have Yusuf's "roadsinger" album,i love that one....and like you said "still has the touch but the angst is gone"

for those of you who may not be aware...Yusuf Islam was Cat Stevens back in the day.

----------Please Don't Love Him

----------As A Matter Of Fact

Surprised they would even warrant a compilation. All those singles and only 2 even hit the chart. I think we have to call them a one hit wonder.
Lies is the only thing I remember and the only thing I love here. Not a bad set overall though. Took be back to the 60's. I heard Beatles, Beach
Boys, Four Seasons, Association, and Paul Revere. Knickerbockers were a New Jersey band formed in 1962, just in time for that british invasion
thing. Tough competition around then and the boys could only come up with the 1 hit. Only recorded for 3 years. Story goes they had signed with
an inept label with no distribution. So they got buried. The Lies album was the only one to chart, which came out in '66 and they called it
quits in '67. Must have been a bad experience. This album holds up ok just missing an average like sore.

I LIKE THIS ALBUM

Worst Track - Jerk Town

Have to agree - his earlier albums were better.
