a writer (Cooper) is offered the ultimate drug from his ex-brother-in-law.
the drug lets him see everything with pure clarity and his recollection is perfect.
he dabbles on the markets and makes a fortune and comes to the attention of a
businessman (De Niro)….
theres hitmen, Russian Mafia etc.
hard to place it but Wiki call it scifi-thriller.

American black comedy, "coming of age" series.
similar in style to the UK series The End Of The Fucking World but instead of a potential serial killer,
this ones main character has telekinetic powers she doesn't understand.
halfway through the series at the moment, really good.

must have seen it 100+ times over the decades.

obviously a comedy with these two stars...
not generally a fan of Ferrell overall and I can generally take or leave Wahlberg for the most part
but this movie was pretty funny.
reminded me of the humour in the Focker movies.

lacks the Oomph of the original (as expected)

action movie.
it seems just about everyone I know has seen it except for me.
a bit far fetched, but that's the genre anyway.
still not convinced of Keanu's acting abilities, he still comes across like a cardboard cut-out at times.
still, not a bad movie.
will watch the second movie of the franchise later tonight.
