RE: Currently Watching? - CRAZY-HORSE - 04-02-2020 Superbowl Half-time show featuring J-Lo and Shakira I thought it was very good but a lot of the critics are condemning it, saying is wasn't family friendly with the gyrations/dance moves in my opinion it was a whole lot less provocative than the majority of music videos and showed a whole lot less flesh also what do you guys think RE: Currently Watching? - CRAZY-HORSE - 05-02-2020 on BBC World: KKK- the fight for white supremacy seriously, those guys are nutjobs absolute brainless morons eff'in lunatics RE: Currently Watching? - CRAZY-HORSE - 07-02-2020 thriller. an online game of 'truth or dare' in which contestants win money for the dares they complete, each dare becomes harder and more extreme until it becomes a game of life or death. good movie Wiki: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nerve_(2016_film) rating 3.5/5 comedy. two reporters sent to Ecuador to report in a coup. unfortunately they lost their passports and decide to hold up in New York and fake being in Ecuador to the pount of claiming theyve been kidnapped by terrorists... the whole movie is one comedy of errors after another. stars Ricky Gervais and Eric Bana the Wiki: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special_Correspondents rating: 3.5/5 RE: Currently Watching? - CRAZY-HORSE - 08-02-2020 Sir David Attenborough's Planet Earth II: all about grasses, he can make the life of grass sound interesting LOL. seriously, its more about the animals that live in grassy areas around the world. awesome commentary and cinematography. RE: Currently Watching? - CRAZY-HORSE - 09-02-2020 Netflix comedy. Wiki: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Drunk_Parents not really a fan of Baldwin but Dani wanted to watch it. cant even recall what it was about other than being abysmal. Rating: 1/5 RE: Currently Watching? - CRAZY-HORSE - 10-02-2020 ^^ back to something good after that last effort! Netflix movie (obviously a comedy with Jervais involved!!) starring Ricky Jervais, Jennifer Garner, Rob Lowe. does anyone else think the Ms Garner looks a bit like Julia Roberts?? the Wiki: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Invention_of_Lying anyway, set in a world where no one lies, everyone is taken at face value, everyone tells the truth no mater how brutal it may be. that is, until one man tells a white lie and it snowballs out of control a laugh a minute movie with great story. Rating: 4/5 RE: Currently Watching? - CRAZY-HORSE - 10-02-2020 ![]() so, John Rambo's niece goes to Mexico to look for the dad who run out on the family years earlier, on the way she gets drugged in a nightclub, kidnapped and held to be sold into the sex trade by a Cartel, Rambo gets to her, helps her escape but she dies from a forced drug overdose on the way home. Rambo decides to take on the entire Cartel single-handedly. what ensues is an absolute blood-fest (1001 goriest ways to die) not a movie if youre not into that sort of thing but im a Rambo/First Blood fan not a great movie but makes the passing grade for that reason Rating 2.5/5 RE: Currently Watching? - CRAZY-HORSE - 12-02-2020 first time ive seen this action-comedy in years. Schwartzenegger is a spy, his wife, Jamie Curtis, thinks he is a salesman. they get kidnapped, Arnie is forced to admit to his wife he is a spy in this laugh a minute movie. great supporting cast of Tom Arnold and Bill Paxton with cameo from Charlton Heston. the Wiki: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/True_Lies superb movie 4.5/5 RE: Currently Watching? - CRAZY-HORSE - 16-02-2020 sixth and latest instalment of the series. James Cameron back in the chair. Linda Hamilton reprising her role as Sarah Connor and of course Arnie as the T-800. not going to get into the synopsis (you can read the Wiki here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terminator:_Dark_Fate#Plot ) probably the worst of the six, special effects were great but I didn't like it Rating: 1/5 RE: Currently Watching? - CRAZY-HORSE - 16-02-2020 Netflix doco: TRICKY DICK AND THE MAN IN BLACK details the lead up and the subsequent meeting and concert at White House in the early 1970s between Nixon and John Cash. Nixon thought bringing in (using) Cash would help build his own voter base. Cash played but it wasn't the pro flag waving event Nixon hoped for especially when Cash wrote "what is truth" specifically for the show. that song was quite poignant and prophetic as not long after Nixon resigned in the murky waters of Watergate. Rating 3/5 (would have got a four out of five had it dealt less with Cash's early life and more on the event but I guess if you don't know much about JC then it gave you an insight into his way of thinking) |
