story based on the autobiographical book of Union Leader Frank Sheeran (De Niro) and the relationship between him,the Bufulino Mafia Boss (Pesci) and Jimmy Hoffa (Pacino).
a story with these dynamics cannot be told in 90 minutes, thus the 200+ minutes and is told as Sheeran is remembering his life whilst in a retirement home.
riveting performances from all three lead characters (as youd expect).
not your typical shoot 'em up Mafia movie.

this one rates up there with the greatest movies of all time for me
well worth three and a half hours of your time for the acting alone!

PRETTY LITTLE STALKER - Netflix movie
not in the same league as "the hand that rocks the cradle", "play misty for me" or "single white female".
no edge of the seat suspense at all.

RATTLESNAKE - Netflix movie
thriller:
a young girl gets bitten by a rattlesnake
a mysterious woman appears and heals the wound
whilst in hospital with her daughter, the mother has a visit from a man
the man says the mother needs to "take a life by sunset or he takes the child's soul"
and so the movie continues.....
sort of story Stephen King should be writing instead of half the crap he does.

live gig from their 2017 reunion show at, you guessed it...Wembley!
contains all their hits except "rock and roll is king", "hold on tight" and "confusion".
does contain Travelling Wilbury's "handle with care" and their version of "Xanadu".
everything sounds perfect like the original recordings complete with live string section.
Lynne's vocals aren't quite as they used to be but the tones are still there.
unfortunately the performance is, for want of a better phrase, clinical and sterile.
theres little emotion, and no spark in the music.
its great seeing and hearing the old classics again, pleasant memories come flooding back of my youth,
which afterall is what the purpose of music becomes over time.
as a huge fan I would genuinely like to say this is brilliant but unfortunately I cannot.
the spark is gone

Netflix movie, new release:
crime thriller:
a woman confesses to the murder of her husband.
problem is, theres no body.
the Public Defender is sent in to orchestrate a plea bargain and notices some glaring omissions
in the file.
she sets out to investigate the case.
is the confessor covering up?
was there actually a murder? and if so
can the real murderer be brought to justice?
good suspense with a couple of twists and turns
worth watching if you like thriller/crime movies

Just wanted to tell you about the new 2019 DVD release of Floyd's 'Delicate Sound of Thunder' Tour. This is much better than the original VHS release.
