HAVEN "season II and III"
Haven is still troubled by "the troubles"
the already strenuous relationship between Duke and Nathan is heightened as they both fall in love with Audrey...
add to that 'the troubles' and the underlying deceptions about 'the troubles', The Guard, the search for the "bolt-gun killer/skinner killer" and
who Audrey really is and the plot thickens considerably...
Audrey has a decision to make...enter "the barn" and "the troubles" cease to be, or stay in Haven and the town will be destroyed by
the impending Hunter meteor storm...!
series II was better than the first series and series III slightly better than the second one...
not a fantastic series but still worth watching...
the main problem I have with it is the use of ideas from Stephen King's previous works in it,
like a killer clown (IT), the mention of Shawshank Prison (Shawshank Redemption), a mysterious dome that envelops the town (The Dome) in one episode,
a rabid dog (Cujo), the mention of 'the author who had his ankles broken by that crazy bitch' (Misery) etc etc...
but like I said, other than that, not a bad series...
infact, its a rarity nowadays to see something without nudity or bad language, and this show has none of those things.

Haven: season IV
started off okay, went downhill towards the end of the series...
season five is split into two dvd sets, each containing 13 episodes I believe, ive come this far not to keep watching.
im expecting a bit of repetition with the final season and even flashbacks as they take the series on a couple of series too many.
will start season V boxset #1 tomorrow.
so far we have:

HAVEN: season V - volume I.
twenty six episodes in season V, so they split it up or release on two separate boxsets.
the second part o the final season doesn't get released here until mid May.
this season starts of a bit repetitive as they lose track o the plot, but about six or seven episodes in
it starts moving foreward once again.

In Season Five our heroes struggle to keep the towns secrets under wraps becomes even more difficult when Haven is visited by a whip smart CDC doctor, who comes to believe that there may be an underlying genetic marker to the troubles, and possibly a cure.
