The X-Files reboot starts here on Sunday, has anyone in the US seen it yet, if so, does it stay true

there was a couple of albums released some years ago that featured music from the X-Files series...
the first one was instrumental pieces from the show, the other was songs used in the series and/or inspired by the series...
I have both on vinyl that I bought second hand a few years ago...
but yes....the X-Files theme is a superb piece of work, it sums up the series perfectly IMO.

Ok, so I forced myself to stay awake and watch the first episode of the new X-Files episode last night...
I was apprehensive,
Would Mulder and Scully be to old?
Would the episode not compare with the originals?
Would they modernise the theme music etc....?
Phew!
I need not have worried....
The formula is 'classic X-Files'( and I'm a self proclaimed File-ophile)!
Very good stuff,
And yes, 'the truth is still out there'!!!

not a bad disaster movie(predictable from the get go) but brilliant special effects...
i'd give it a 2/5 for the story, 5/5 for effects:

JUSTIFIED: series I
finished this a week or so ago...
first couple of episodes lacked story, guess it was about getting to know the characters,
but after that, the story kicked in and moved foreward at a decent pace...
almost through series two now and it still gets better as we get to know the other central characters more'
series outline:
Justified is the story of Deputy U.S. Marshal Raylan Givens (Timothy Olyphant), a true-blue hero and something of a throwback, given to wearing a Stetson and cowboy boots, carrying his sidearm in a hip holster â a weapon he only draws when he has to, and when he does, he shoots to kill, because, as he sees it, thatâs the purpose of a gun.
