While others trudge through the crud, seeking enlightenment or at least something that will stand a second hearing, to their evident disappointment, I cruise the historics. Case in point: Huey Lewis and the News on German TV in '84. Maybe at heart a rocker--and his guitarist upholds that side of the house--his vocals and indeed, writing--and that killer sax player-- support his acknowledging and working in the Black side of R&R. My proof?
