Mayer did alrigth with his cover, but like you say...pretty hard to stuff that song up...its simplicity at its finest IMO
I'll usually listen to anything, to give it a chance. Not this though--I was 40 seconds into her cover when the gorge started to rise. All involved should be ashamed of themselves. Execrable. << derived from "excrement", which this is.

i really dont know why i persist in watching modern horror flicks because theyre absolutely useless IMO...
at least this one wasnt filled with the usual blood and guts and nudity to keep the viewer watching, there was
a basic story to it...and by basic, i mean basic
wasnt really impressed, gets a score of 2/5 from me

"QUARTET"
the basic story revolves around residents of a 'retirement home for retired musicians'
the music in it is 'classical',
its a good warm, feelgood story from start to finish...
as a bonus, a lot of the supporting cast/extras in the retirement home were actually famous muso's/opera singers back in their day!
gets a score of 4/5 from me
