UK General Election - Tiggi - 12-05-2010

gryphon Wrote:Well it looks like they have decided what to do and that all that is left now is to appoint a cabinet and see how it shapes up in government

If I;m right though , this is not a huge majority and by elections etc could change things in time so lets see how long they can last and if the British people give them more MPs in time or erode that slender majority

:nod::happy:Cool

Past experience would suggest it won't last long. I'll give it 18 months...

What is the overall sense of how PM Cameron is doing so far ? Do they have Approval Rating polls in the UK like they do in the US ?

I'm not his greatest fan, but in fairness he hasn't yet been a complete arse.

He's very much ahead in the approval ratings, with the rival party leaders not doing well at all.

He is the best PM we have had in years comparing to Gordon Brown and Tony Blair. He is not perfect and is a typical career politician in all thoughts. I feel his heart is in the right place, even if sometimes his execution is not great and is a little quick to take credit for events that may not be his doing.
