What would you like to see on MD? - Erixouther - 09-11-2009
gryphon Wrote:I would like to see the following: Members taking an album or maybe an artist and writng a objective review of the that album , its strengths , its weaknesses, the influences , the links to other artists , other people produced by the same producer , guest artists , further listening, covers of the tracks etc . Maybe the same sort of approach could be given to artists too
Maybe someone could write up an outline to writing reviews - a fill-in-the-blanks type thing....
~~AND~~
I second the recommendations board.

there are alot of theatre shows out there, all across the world, with sound tracks and the like, some are great-like wicked, some are bad-like into the hood, some shouldn't work but really do (desperately seeking susan, set to the music of blondie) ...and i thought it might be interesting to have a place where we could discuss this different type of music?
i know myself that theatre is a big part of my life (naturally) and that the majority of what i attend is musical theatre, and the varity in the type of music you hear is amazing

Related to Kerrys post, I would like to see a makeover of the genre thread titles. The combining of some and new additions. Too lengthy and maybe controversial to debate here, but if I was President...:blah:

Is there a facility currently to jump straight to the first unread post in a thread ??
I've just had a good look, and can't find a way to do this.
With the increases in post volumes the site is experiencing, this will be increasingly valauble.
