Not sure why I have this one, not a fan. You just pick 'em up along the way. Soft country rock not my thing. A few
good tracks with almost as many bad. Really original title, this being the groups fourth album. Must be Chicago
fans. The first country group in history to have their debut single reach #1 on the country chart. Seems hard to
believe but that's what it says. Four additional #1 singles, and 33 that have charted on the country side and a few
crossover hits, I guess the boys have paid their dues. A total of eight albums with the last in 2009. Assume they
are still around. This one went gold and reached #14 country here. Four singles of which none are my favorite. Guess
I didn't listen to country radio much. I never came around to the modern country thing. I like my country straight,
no chaser.

I DO NOT LIKE THIS ALBUM

Worst Track - Big

Best Track - She Misses Him On Sunday The Most

They were quite a pair
The way that love should be
They still held hands
For the world to see
She’s thankful that she had him all those years
But she still has days she can’t hold back the tears

She misses their Monday night bowling league
When they’d wear their matching shirts
She misses their Wednesday night dinner out
As soon as he got home from work
And Saturday morning sleeping late
Holding each other close
But she misses him on Sunday the most

She sits alone on that same old pew again
His tenor voice still echoes now and then
It brings back all those memories of him there by her side
What she’d give for one more Sunday drive

She misses their Monday night bowling league
When they’d wear their matching shirts
She misses their Wednesday night dinner out
As soon as he got home from work
And Saturday morning sleeping late
Holding each other close
But she misses him on Sunday the most
But she misses him on Sunday the most

If I Should Fall From Grace With God-the Pogues

Even better than "Rum, Sodomy, and the Lash", which is already one of my favorite albums. I've always really liked the playful nature of Celtic folk music, and the borderline punk edge Shane MacGowan gives to the sound works miracles. Also, "Fairytale of New York" is the only song that coul make "you scumbag, you maggot, you're a cheap loust faggot" sound romanntic

THE LITTLE STEVIES "attention shoppers" cd,2011.

another of Corey's reccomendations a while back...
second album by these Aussie folksters, havent got their debut so cant really compare the two, but apparently this one is a bit more uptempo and leaning towards a more 'pop' sound.
nothing great on here, just average tracks with three i simply dont like...not sure why i dont like them, but i dont.
cant recall seeing this one in the charts here or even hearing any songs on the radio, but not bad even if most of the songs do sound the same!
i wasnt expecting many links and seems like i was correct in that assumption!
ps,
SteveO got a feeling this one might be right up your alley mate!

I absolutely hate this song. Not because it isn't any good, but here in Ireland they play this 30 times a day (not kidding either) over the Xmas period. Everytime it comes on I turn the radio off. Or put on a CD.

Maybe their first album is more to my taste, mate? Their sound is a little on the poppy side but a nice refreshing trio having said that. I wonder what's with the four string mini guitar being played here?...Corey probably knows.

Yes J, that can happen! Adele was played too much on the radio last year!
