RE: Covid-19 - Jerome - 22-12-2020 Trying to remember the name of the series or movie. Woman had a very prominent New York style accent (much like the woman who plays The Nanny) but for the life of me I just cannot remember who it is. This is going to bug me all day now. Bugger. And no I don't have a drone. Sounds like you've been busy boy! LOL. RE: Covid-19 - Music Head - 22-12-2020 I'm not one of those anti-vaccine people but amazed that we spend billions of dollars to develop and distribute a vaccine designed to infect us with a virus that we've been trying to avoid for a year when it has a 95% survival rate the concept is hard to grasp RE: Covid-19 - CRAZY-HORSE - 22-12-2020 78.2 million worldwide cases now: https://epidemic-stats.com/coronavirus/ RE: Covid-19 - Jerome - 22-12-2020 (22-12-2020, 13:14)Music Head Wrote: I'm not one of those anti-vaccine people The older I get the less sense everything makes. When you're young everything looks rosy. As you age the holes start appearing. I remember the Dalai Lama talking about human beings chasing the capitalist dream their whole life long only to realize how much time they have 'wasted on the way'. Humans are complex machines and sometimes the software does not work as intended. Reboot required. RE: Covid-19 - Jerome - 24-12-2020 The UK reported a new strain of the virus recently. Now it appears there is an even more infectious strain identified in two South Africans who arrived in the UK. Seems like this thing can change structure at the drop of a hat. This is not good news at all and I am beginning to wonder if there is ever going to be a return to 'normal' life. I can't see it coming anytime soon. What I cannot understand is while there is a massive effort to find that elusive cure-all vaccine, no-one seems to be too concerned about tracking down the real source which makes me think they already know but are not telling us. No-one has come up with a definitive answer to date. It's all just speculation. And the country where this is all supposed to have originated from is not showing any marked increase in infections or new strains despite having the largest population in the world??!!?? Something just does not measure up. They mention bats and rats as possible sources but I think it's all just monkey business. Someone created this. A designer disease. RE: Covid-19 - CRAZY-HORSE - 24-12-2020 my Dad has said from day one that the Chinese Govt sent out operatives into these places with little capsules of the virus and set them off at a predetermined destinations and times. my Dad reads James Patterson novels and this exact scenario was played out in one of his novels years ago apparently including Patterson describing Wuhan at the original epicentre. when Trump started to put extra tariffs/taxes on China and go up againt Tik-Tok the Chinese Govt did say "you'll be sorry", (is this what they meant?) then The West started getting these cases out of nowhere, it didnt spread across the world as one would expect from China, one minute it was in Wuhan, the next it it in Western Europe/US. Trump also said in the beginning that it was a manmade virus created by China, im pretty sure he was aware of this but as usual he doesnt know when to keep hush-hush on National Security secrets. another thing, how has China seemingly all but eradicated it internally yet it continues to flourish everywhere else? they must have the antidote/vaccine so why arent they sharing it with the rest of the world? i dont think this is a so called 'conspiracy theory' i think there is truth in it somewhere as so many things just dont add up and when 2+2 does not equal 4 something just isnt quite right. RE: Covid-19 - CRAZY-HORSE - 24-12-2020 79 million and counting.... RE: Covid-19 - Jerome - 24-12-2020 Been looking at the percentage of deaths relative to the number of infections - highest three; Mexico - 8.9% Western Sahara - 10% Yemen - 24.9% - as if those poor people have not been through enough already. So 1 in 4 who are infected are dying. The war obviously has a hell of a lot to do with this. People in Yemen are starving so their immune systems are already compromised. God help them. Two others I did not expect; Isle of Man - 6.7% Montserrat - 7.7% RE: Covid-19 - CRAZY-HORSE - 25-12-2020 i could be wrong but doesnt Montserrat and Isle Of Man have an disproportionatly elderly population though due to retirees moving there? Merry Christmas World, Covid's gift to us is 80,000,000 strong! Didn't think of that - you're probably right Crazy Man. Seems 100 million infected is not so far-fetched now! |
