Dani and myself just came home from the Cinema...saw The Maze Runner...!
was sort of a cross between Hunger Games and Lost(series)...
movie was actually very good for a modern movie,sort of kept you guessing until the end, but also left it open for a sequel/prequel franchise...
my rating: 4/5

Barbare Streisand on Fallon....
she has a new duets album out, Fallon and Barbie dueted a medley of tracks from the album, with Fallon impersonating the people she duets with...
cool interview with Fallon after, was surprised to learn,from Barb herself, it was her first late night tv appearance in 50yrs.
and i'll tell you know, she still sings as good as she did in her prime.

make sure you watch it in its entirity, she can still sing, has a sense of humour etc...i was impressed with her and im not really a fan.

Yes the lady can sing - no doubt about that, but I have not really ever been a fan of hers. That sickly-sweet, politically correct banter of hers between songs puts me off.

Copper Great socio-historical drama wearing the mantle of a police procedural. NYC 1864 with the Civil War burning; the Draft Riots pitting the Blacks of the city vs. the swarming Irish immigrants, only in the recent past;, active institutionalized policing especially a dedicated corps of trained detectives also recent. First production of BBC America and they wanted to make a splash. They did--quality throughout. Ran 2 seasons. Here's the book on it:

I've liked a few songs over the years but not a big fan
the duet thing with Fallon.....Jimmy never had time to get in character
that and I don't care for Blake or Michael
