Japans contribution to the classical/electronic field. Although some may call it the butchering of classical compositions. This one in particular was quite controversial at the time, as the estate of Gustav Holst took offense at the reworking if his piece of art. They attempted, but failed, to pull it off the market. Tomita sticks to the score, although most wouldn't know it. It was new to me and I loved it. Electronic or instrumental music is normally not my thing. I make an exception for Tomitas early work.
I LOVE THIS ALBUM

^ Blimey, that's a hefty score...
Might have to investigate.

Ellen Allien - Should We Go Home from Dust [BPitch Control, 2010]
My favorite full-length by her since 2003's Berlinette. The album does a good job of including both headphone ready fare and the more high tempo club numbers.

Analog synths a-go-go !!
Anyone for 30-year-old dystopian futuristic Synth-Disco ??
Liked him at the time, and surprisingly it still sounds credible. Cars still sounds excellent when wicked up...
