am I the only one posting about my purchases anymore?
Anyway, I've recently bought the following:
Dead Kennedys - Fresh Fruit for Rotting Vegetables (brilliant album)
Blondie - Plastic Letters & Parallel Lines (2 albums together as 2 CDS in one case - only £5 too)
Hallucinogen - The Lone Deranger (psychedelic trance, I friggin' love it!)
Ministry of Sound's 'Sound of Dubstep 2' (I needed some Dubstep - it seems to be the sound of the moment, so...)
Saxon - Power and the Glory (I used to own this on cassette. Not one of their best but I like it)
Whitesnake - 1987 (ok I admit it - I quite like soppy pop rock ballads like Is This Love and Here I Go Again)

In 1978 ELP had a rival band....................In its first incarnation UK had begun to erode some of ELP's glory...............Then personal changes lead to UK becoming John Wetton, Eddie Jobson and Terry Bozzio
This new link up was a little wary of their position and this lead to them booking there first few gigs in rather obscure venues.............
I was curious to see this new link up and so managed to secure tickets to see then in a rather run down ballroom in Birmingham in the UK.
The venue was most unused to having rock audiences , we all had to sit on the floor in silence before the gig !!!!
However , the performance was wonderful...............Mostly it consisted of tracks from the first UK album and Danger Money.
Straight after I bought a vinyl copy .
In the depths of divorce I lost that copy and have struggled to find a CD copy at a reasonable price , however in the last few days I have managed to locate acopy and am looking forward to living 40 mins or so of keyboard driven excellence.

On the recommendation of the members of this site I purchased Adele's 21. Bloody awesome - thx guys - this one's going with me on holidays. Last track on the disc is just plain brilliant. 'Someone Like You' Talk about putting everything into a song! And some of the first real decent lyrics I have heard in a long time. Can't stop playing it.
