What Are You Listening To? - Tiggi - 20-11-2009 Fleetwood Mac - Then Play on ![]() Yes, this is very good stuff... What Are You Listening To? - Music Head - 20-11-2009 ^^ now that's what I'm talkin' 'bout. Rumours my butt. What Are You Listening To? - Tiggi - 21-11-2009 ^ Even if you don't like it, Rumours is a great album... Fleetwood Mac - English Rose ![]() & Fleetwood Mac - Kiln House ![]() The former is the second they recorded with Peter Green, and the latter is their first following his departure. I think they're both good records, but the loss of Green is obvious in terms of both the music & the song-writing (although he was never particularly prolific). For one band to encounter four major song-writers - Green, Perfect/McVie, Buckingham, & Nicks - during their lifespan is relatively rare, so Mick Fleetwood & John McVie should count themselves lucky... What Are You Listening To? - Tiggi - 22-11-2009 Fleetwood Mac - Fleetwood Mac ![]() & Fleetwood Mac - Shrine '69 ![]() ...and more. Their first album, followed by a live 1969 effort. Two more excellent albums, but I think I've had enough Brit Blues for the mo'... What Are You Listening To? - Toncy - 24-11-2009 Yes we're listening to "Panoramic View" Take a listen at: It's Cold man Cold!
What Are You Listening To? - Iota - 25-11-2009 Barry Adamson - Something Wicked This Way Comes What Are You Listening To? - Tiggi - 26-11-2009 Having declared my Fleetwood mac dalliance over, Robbie has stuck another couple of CDs in my hand. This is the first: Fleetwood Mac - Blues Jam in Chicago ![]() Not strictly a Fleetwoods album, but they get to play with some of their heroes on this '69 live-in-the-studio recorded-in-a-day album. Didn't do a huge amount for me. Maybe the celestial alignment's a bit out of whack !! What Are You Listening To? - Tiggi - 03-12-2009 Fleetwood Mac - The Best of Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac ![]() I've bought this excellent compilation to cover the PG years. I now have Man of The World at my disposal whenever I wish... Contains a modern take on Albatross that is interesting, but is bordering on sacrilege. What Are You Listening To? - trbc08 - 06-12-2009 "Prophase" - Yosuke Yamashita What Are You Listening To? - trbc08 - 06-12-2009 "Constipation Blues" - Screamin' Jay Hawkins I have to say, this guy "had a pair" if you catch my drift... And an amazing voice as well. |
