Having great fun playing with plant based recipes - haven't touched any meat or fish since December. Quite a revelation this time around, I must say - there are wonderful cookbooks and fantastic vegetarian chefs now compared to the last time I went veggie, not to mention a much wider array of available ingredients. Loving middle eastern flavours and foods especially - all quite a trip! RE: what's for dinner/tea? - CRAZY-HORSE - 24-02-2021 ^^ i went Veggie back when i was around 17 for a couple of years... very little on the market and in shops back then as it was still considered a 'fringe' choice.... it wasnt split into 'vegan' and 'vegetarian' neither, it was simply 'vegetarian'... couldnt find any non-meat items on menu's... so many choices and flavors available now compared to back in the day. that said, i could live without meat for sure, but not fish. which reminds me i need to go back to the meat specialist stockist and re-order buffalo, emu, crocodile and camel meat again. |
