Ronnie Wood was born on this day in 1947 in Middlesex, England. His is Romany, of the clan âwater gypsiesâ or bargees. Not only is he well known for his involvement in some classic bands â Jeff Beck Group, Faces, The Rolling Stones â heâs also an author and a respected artist. He paints and sketches musicians, amongst other subject matter, and he is nothing short of prolific. All the productivity is somewhat impressive for a person whoâs quite openly been plagued by addiction issues, not to mention a hectic touring schedule.
