I've been listening to a lot of Tori Amos. She has a new album out Unrepentant Geraldines. I've only heard a snip here and there but it sounds better than her last 3 or 4 albums. I had really started to get bored with her. Never stopped loving her though! Lots of good material.

Thought this would come out better. Guess we forget when the listens are years apart. I see they called it quits last year, until the reunion
tour of course, after the money runs out. Major label debut here after touring with Avenged Sevenfold. Also toured with Green Day and Fall Out
Boy. Lead man Gerard Way got pissed when the band started being labeled as emo-pop. I still haven't figured out what it is so I wouldn't care.
This is their second best selling album and has gone platinum here and the UK and Canada.

I like this band ! Hopefully they will reunite sometime in the future! I like Jetset Life and I Never Told You! Their Black Parade album is very good!!!!...another one of those hard punkish bands that are great live!

Much better than their last one for me. Much bigger production. New producer that worked for Green Day and Goo Goo Dolls. Quote from wiki: It is
a rock opera centering on a dying character with cancer known as "The Patient". The album tells the story of his apparent death, experiences in
the afterlife, and subsequent reflection on his life. Quote from me: and it sounds good too. By far the groups best selling album and I'm
surprised the follow up album didn't do well. Probably has to do with the 4 year layoff between those 2 albums. Anyway, they're history now.

It's called a flatliner with life. Nothing great or terrible on this album. In fact it gets kind of blah after awhile. Looks like this is
Sarah's third best selling album after Surfacing and Fumbling Towards Ecstasy. Haven't heard either of those. This is my only Sarah album other
than the next up compilation. Hoping it comes out better than this one but I'm not counting on it. There was a 6 year gap between Surfacing and
this album. Guess she had other things going on, like a new baby. The album got her both Juno and Grammy nominations but no wins. Allmusic says
this album will not win any new fans, but will satisfy the old ones. Guess I should have started with Surfacing.

Sarah is from my hometown...Halifax, Nova Scotia. She went to the same high school as I did...in her year book she was quoted as saying " wants to be a famous rock star". She certainly attained that goal! Never a die hard fan but I do like her single releases.

Sarah is here in concert in November...will not be going however.

Scores a little bit better than the Afterglow studio album, as it should. I get 4 love tracks and 1 that is too far out there. That Hold On
track just goes all over the place. No contest for the favorite song with Angel, get goosebumps whenever I listen. A step above the tears it can
bring at times. The collection covers 5 studio albums and 1 track from a live album. Then of course they add 2 new tracks to entice the ones
that already have the other songs. Both of those were singles that only charted in Canada and Australia. The diehard fans could also purchase
the deluxe edition, which is another disc that includes some remixes (woo-hoo!!).
