This might have come out better for me had the tracks not have been so long. 12 songs on a 2 disc set. I realize this stuff is made for dance club play and if I was or had ever been a clubber I may feel differently. But I'm not and have never been, so I don't. Guess this guy is well known among that scene. Brian Transeau who goes by BT, has many film scores and hits on the electronic charts, and numerous collaborations with hit makers. This is his sixth studio album. A nice cover of the Furs The Ghost In You closes it out, which would be my fav had it been an original.
I DO NOT LIKE THIS ALBUM
Worst Track - Le Nocturne de Lumi
Best Track - Forget Me
I'll give to you if you give to me
I always want to hear what's on your mind
And from the other side, can you still answer me
'Cause we'll crave to be understood...yeah
And what I want to say
And what I need to hear
And what I want to feel
Is in those arms
And I'll sing to you if you sing to me
Because I long to hear what's on your heart...yeah
Forget me
I'm tired and wasted
Hopeless and faded
Listless and jaded
Forget me
I'm tired of waiting
I'm still underrated
I'm hopeful but jaded
But just remember
This is a beautiful mistake
I really need you
As our silence starts to break
It's already a fire
Created in all the walls we reached
And I don't know what you want me to be
But I don't want to be perfect anymore
I'll share with you if you share with me
I always want to hear what's on your mind
And from the other side, can you still answer me?
Because I live to speak what's on my heart...yeah
Forget me
I'm tired and wasted
Listless and jaded
Hopeless and faded
Forget me
I'm tired of waiting
Still underrated
But I'm finally awake
Let us remember
Life's such a beautiful mistake
It's precious and fragile
Sometimes more than we can take
It's stronger than fire
Created in all things men create
And I don't know what you want from me
But I don't want to be perfect anymore
Let us remember
Life's such a beautiful mistake
It's precious and fragile
Sometimes more than we can take
It's stronger than fire
Created in all the walls we reach
Letting go of fault and blame
'Cause I don't want to be perfect anymore
Yeah, I don't want to be perfect anymore
And you don't have to be perfect anymore
But your love, your love, your love, your love
Is perfect just the same

I didn't know BT was still active. I liked him once upon a time when I was young and dumb. Not now! I'm guessing this review is spot on. I'll try one of the linked previews just to make sure.

Okay, I've listened to a couple of songs from the BT album. It is horrible. BT can't decide if he wants to make proper pop songs or club music. It ends up failing at both.

UK electronic/dance/punk band formed in 2006 and creating their own label. I get to learn a new genre every day. Grime influences. I don't know, you tell me. I mean, I looked it up, but I still don't know. All I know is I don't like it. First getting notice when Mike Skinner of The Streets played a track while filling in on Zane Lowes radio show. The Dizzee Rascal influence killed it for me. The single of Turn The Lights Out turned out as my fav, so at least they picked the right track for that.
I DO NOT LIKE THIS ALBUM
Worst Track - Lost
Best Track - Turn The Lights Out
Turn the lights out, turn the lights out
Turn the lights out, turn the, turn the
Turn the lights out, turn the lights out
Turn the lights lights out
Make way for the ultraviolet teenage riot, don't try it
You can't (stop this, stop this) You can't (stop this, stop this)
You see I'm lit like a molotov
Get out my way when the riot kicks off
You can't (stop this, stop this) You can't (stop this, stop this)
Get ready for the rough and tumble
If you wanna be starting something
You aint seen nothing yet, no you aint seen nothing
Push your way to the pit, stand tall raise your hands
If you wanna be starting something
You aint seen nothing yet, no you aint seen nothing
Turn the lights out, turn the lights out, turn the lights out
Make way for the bass
We fracture ribs and the dim when the sun comes in
(Go, go go go go go go go)
Make way for the drums
We pillar these beats so hard like concrete sheets
(Go, go go go go)
We hit the fuse and we're ready to blow
I don't care where we are, I don't care where we go
You better run from cover where the filaments go
I don't care where we are, I don't care where we go
This is your last chance boy, this is your last chance
This is your last chance, your last chance (x4)
Make way for the cardinal sin
When the boys come out when the freaks come in
(Go, go go go go go go go)
Make way for the hover show
If you wanna bring it then we'll come a loco
(Go, go go go go go go go)
We hit the fuse and we're ready to blow
I don't care where we are, I don't care where we go
You better run from cover where the filaments go
I don't care where we are, I don't care where we go
I don't care where we go
I don't care where we go

all music has them as electronic and most of it sounds that to me.
I will agree with the horrible part.
And did you consider that maybe, just maybe, I posted that here, not because I want to participate on every board, but because I thought it belonged here?
